This is the general administrative classification.

•
As a whole The War Council and Specialized War Council will vote on clan wide issues in an equal status.
• Will be assigned 1-4 specific games to solely or cooperatively oversee. Games can be from more than one category (i.e. FPS, RTS, RPG, MMOG, Console) or it is possible to have more than one or overlap assigning of a game. Members designated within a category may divide up responsibility among themselves to accommodate their needs.
• Number for each determined by number of games within a game category.

Diplomat Department

1. Alliances

1.1 Game Alliance : Handled exclusively by Game Leaders and applicable Diplomats. )
(All previous alliances must be RE-ESTABLISHED in order to maintain their status.) Inactive clans will not be tolerated for allies. The requirements for Game Alliances are as follows:

• Must be approved by game leader and applicable diplomat.
• Must operate by similar rules as Aop

1.2 Global Alliance: Handled exclusively by the Chief Diplomat , and support by Diplomats. Disrespect towards any Global Alliance will result in immediate punishment by the Chief Diplomat .

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2. Diplomats

2.1 Diplomats no longer have a primary game (name will be listed on a central diplomat roster) but playing multiple games actively is a MUST in order to fill the job. Assist in any Alliance matters within their supported sections (from 2-3.) Report directly to Chief Diplomat and the game leaders of those games in which they oversee. When overseeing any alliance situations of sections, diplomats are expected to maintain efficient communication with those particular game leaders to provide a smooth process for alliances - on both section and global scale. Diplomats shall be an equivalent rank to HG/Captain. And be responsible for the following:

• Search out and initiate Alliance proceedings with qualified clans
• Forum communication on both Allies and Aop's
• Voting in approving new Global Alliances
• Coordinate with game leaders for Game Alliances
• Representing Aop in any matters regarding their applicable sections towards other clans (friendly or hostile.)

2.2 Diplomat numbers shall be determined by quantity of games in each section (RPG, RTS,FPS, and MMOG) ! Diplomat shall be assigned for every 3 games,( a minimum of 2 per section) and each shall be responsible to maintain relationships for the main games they are assigned to as well as the overall diplomacy of Aop. (example: if a division has 4 games, they get 2 Diplomats, a third added upon addition of the 7th game)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3. Permissions

3.1 Alliance members receive regular, non tagged account with a custom user title of "Alliance - clan tag - game allied for."

3.2 Global Alliance members receive tagged, regular accounts with the standard "Global Alliance" tag..

3.3 Diplomats gain moderator privileges to the Diplomacy Forum as well as access to Tactical Operations Centre. Standard "Diplomat" tag and war room access granted immediately.

United Alliance Member

Leaders from other clans that have joined Aop in alliance.

Justice Department

An important note about the JD - The JD will only be involved in extreme cases. For the day-to-day punishments, it will be the Game Leader's discretion as to what gets punished, etc. The JC has the authority to step in if need be, and can also regulate our upper ranks, however we must give out GAME LEADERS & ADMINS leeway to handle business on their own if possible, and only come to JD as last resort

Justice department will consist of Chief Justice and a Justice Council. Justice council will be composed of 5 members. in addition to forming the "jury", the justice council will also be admin support for up to 4 games.

The only time the justice department will be used will be:
Extreme issues for regular members that the GM feels he cannot handle properly
An issue with a GM, mod, captain, or anyone else above field rank ASSUMING the GM of that section can not handle the issue himself
An issue with a WC member or another member of parliament

The way the justice council will work will be:
*ANYONE* can initiate a trial. If people initiate trials over stupid things, then they themselves will be reprimanded. This is only to be used as a last line to stop problems.
A post is made by the person initiating with a standard topic, IE/ "WNxLoCo should be put on trial for the following reasons:" Then the post would be a detailed account of what happened with any logs, proof, etc.
A reverse argument is made by the accused stating why this happened, his own proof, etc.
the justice council & the chief justice all vote whether guilty or not
In the event of a tie, a royal commander will cast the tie breaking vote
If the accused is found GUILTY then the chief justice deals out an appropriate punishment. CHIEF JUSTICE WILL DECIDE PUNISHMENTS IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES, unless VOTED by 2 or more members of the Royal Commanders!!
Note that the council is only to be used in extreme circumstances.. if its being used alot, then this means that the game leaders are failing in their positions

*NOTE that unless an official trial is initiated, that the chief justice has NO SAY over punishment or who is guilty, innocent, etc. - the punishment and dealing with problems falls upon the GAME LEADERS of the section..

Moderator Department

Royal Guard department primary function is FORUM UPKEEP. They will keep their forums looking clean and organized. Also may oversee general forums and keep them organized.

Chief Royal Guard is in charge of keeping all the mods in line and keeping tabs on them, making sure the forums are up to par, etc.
Mod status will be given out of necessity, IE/ WNxGuy is posting alot of strats and is active and been in the clan, and the Game Leader thinks he should have mod ability to help keep the forums clean and be able to stic/unstick posts, etc. then he should get it.
ELITE Royal Guards will be in charge of keeping general forums up to par and regulating any offensive content or misplaced posts. Also will assist the Chief Moderator in anything.
NOTE THAT ROYAL GUARDS ARE NOT JUSTICE COUNCIL!!! if a big issue arises and punishment needs dealt, they report it to a JC MEMBER or GAME LEADER!!!

Primary purpose of the Parliament is too help the founders make decisions and to bring up issues that may effect the clan. This will give us EQUAL REPRESENTATION across the Aop network and the different departments.

A note.. EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF THE Parliament needs to play at the very least ONE GAME!!! At least one member of the Parliament will be involved with every single game that we support.

Our job as the Parliament is to the EVERY DAY MEMBERS. be their friends, help them out, help the game leaders if need be. Most importantly, GET YOUR DEPARTMENTS RUNNING TO THEIR BEST ABILITY.

only dedicated and enthusiastic and hardworking people will have these positions.

And if they are not on the same page as the rest of us, then they are not built for the council and we will not put so much faith and work into their hands.

Development Department

Crusaders

Game Development - game champions, game reviews, etc.

Chief of Game Development would oversee the Development Council
Basically CoGD would be the final decisions maker, and the Dev Council would do what the CoGD tells them to do
1 Crusader member in charge of GAME CHAMPS within the one game.
Game champs start new sections when the time comes..
Dev Council do their duties and special projects assigned by the CoGD, along with their other daily activities, and game champs would focus on starting sections and helping other starting sections

• In charge of leading newly released game
• In charge of creating new game reviews and/or encouraging others to do so.

Authority:

They police the new game until a Game Leader is chosen, they are the leads over the Game Champions who are all competing to become the Game Leader.

Duties and Procedure:

• Review new games to decide if they are worthy of Aop. If not, they are out the door, move on to next game.
• When a game is introduced, a Development Council member will take upon themselves the responsibility of supervising.
• 1-2 Development Council members are placed, then they choose the Game Champions.
• They are responsible for up keeping the member roster where the Game champions do not.
• Once a Game Leader is chosen, the Development Council members are pulled out and the new Game Leader takes over. Only after a Game Leader is chosen can a War Council member take on that game to Mentor as Admin Support and not before. War Council members may assist in game play, help out, but the Development Council members are the game keepers in its initial development stage.
• So when the Development Council members are pulled out after a Game Leader is chosen the Development Council go back to game reviews.

Game Champion

• A Game Champion is chosen by the Development Council to support the building efforts of those new games. This is a sub rank to the Development Council and is only a temporary position that must coexist with the Development Council overseeing that specific game.
• There can be 2-7 selected and all are competing for the rank of a game leader rank.
• There will be no backstabbing, down talking or gossiping bad rumours of any participant or you will be disqualified.
